Solvebrand Ltd has been serving the needs of businesses, both large and small, for nearly a decade. Sheila Robinson and David Cromar both began their facilitation, mentoring and networking businesses back in 1988 and first met in 1990. They frequently collaborated and worked together on a number of assignments, workshops and personal enterprise roadshows.

In 2000 they decided to formally join forces and created Solvebrand Ltd. to undertake market research and product development for clients within digital media, mobile telephony, electronic and IT sectors. We worked with existing and new business incubators and developed business support tools for entrepreneurs while expanding our network of business associates and trusted partners.
 
In 2003 we set up MERKIT to deliver our expertise internationally for clients in the UK, EU, North America, and New Zealand. Increasingly we deliver via online collaboration platforms and utilising Web 2.0 technology.
